5 Unique Fall Destinations

The start of Autumn always evokes a certain sense of wanderlust in me.

The brilliant colors, crisp fall air, and abundance of hot chocolate warms my spirit, making me feel as though anything is possible.

And while many think this season can only be appreciated in the Northeastern United States, below are 5 destinations you may want to consider instead:

Cedar City, UtahCedarBreaks-1024x685

Cedar City is a beautiful destination to visit at any point during the year, but especially so in Autumn. In fact, the city’s website even publishes a “Fall Color Report” so travelers can be sure they’ll see the gorgeous foliage during their visit.

Mammoth Lakes, Californialake-992613_1920

Located smack in the middle of CA, Mammoth Lakes is a charming little town in the Sierra Nevada mountains. You can find a Fall Foliage report here!

Bitterroot Valley, Montanabitterroot

Montana is my favorite place that I’ve never been – though I plan on changing that within the year! Nestled between the Sapphire mountain range and the Bitterroot mountain range, Bitterroot Valley is a stunning spot to admire Mother Nature’s beauty.

Denali National Park, Alaskalandscape-2074258_1920

It’s true, Alaska isn’t all glaciers and snow! In fact, it’s a beautiful place to see the very best that Mother Nature has to offer this time of year. Golds, deep reds and spots of green against a snow-capped mountain backdrop? Yes, please.

Whistler, British Columbia Beautiful fall evening in Whistler Village

I’ve had the fortune of visiting Whistler and boy oh boy! it is a BEAUTIFUL place. Home of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games, Whistler is a truly magical spot in Canada. Not only is the colorful foliage abundant, but there are plenty of fun activities in this mountain village – check them out here!

Where’s your favorite spot to go this time of year? Let me know!

Spread kindness and cheer, xo
Jackie

      1. You should! I was in Washington State mid September and it’s such a beautiful place. It doesn’t surprise me neighbouring states are just as pretty 😊
